On December 7th, 2009 I was heading home from a date
and stopped to get a bite to eat. When I left the restaurant, I
decided to drive home a different way then I normally go. I
had just hung up from talking to my date when something
walked out in front of me. It was within 5 to 10 feet from
my car. It was dark in color. I was unable to see a front
view of it but I did see a side view. It was bi-pedal and
stood approximately 7 feet tall. I believe it was a male
because I didn't see any breast on it. I saw its ear and it
was like our ears. I also saw an arm; it hung well down its
leg, almost past the knee area. It took 3 steps and was
across the road and out of my view. It was like BING,
BANG, BOOM. I hung up with my date and called Hawk
and Karen to tell them what had just happened. I had just
had my very first full fledged sighting. I have seen things
before that I could not explain, while with other people, but
this was the very first time I saw something this close and
was sure of what I had seen. I do not know if there are any
others in the area who have had encounters. I know there
is a lot of wildlife in this area and water sources, and this is
also a no hunting area.
I will be going back to the area during daylight hours to
get measurements and look for evidence.
